Day 52: When I was in high school by chance I found a mix tape of classic punk movers and shakers, and The Slits were on it. Ari Up, the lead singer, was 14 when she started the band, and unfortunately she died last year from cancer. (That’s not her though, it’s a photo I found in the Commons on Flickr.)
